„Kakavos Romanas“ was born out of the gentle taming of this drink, that has a long and rich history. Evelina, the founder of the company, cannot imagine her day without cacao and has found an emotional and spiritual connection with it: "I was always looking for a God I could talk to and one day cacao came into my life - it was the one I started to share my thoughts with."

For the first time, cocoa found Evelina in times of sorrow. A friend quietly approached me with a cup of the thick steaming drink, saying, "Take a sip, it will revive you". Before finishing the cup, Evelina felt her eyes widen and her emotional state change. A true miracle had happened!

After this first encounter, Evelina began to wonder what this magic drink was and started looking for a place to buy it in Lithuania. "For a year I drank cacao pure, unsweetened and without any add-ons. The taste was strong and a bit specific, but I really liked the effect." Cacao helped her to be more alert in the mornings and to cope with fears and emotions before important meetings.

It wasn't long before Evelina started looking for recipes to turn cacao into a beverage that was not only useful but also tasty. Eager to share her discoveries, she kept telling friends and acquaintances about cacao until she was finally invited to organise the first educational event on cacao.

Then things started unravelling – „Kakavos Romanas“ studio was opened in Klaipėda, and Evelina started taking even deeper interest in cacao growing, the types of beans, the processing and other details.

"I noticed that cacao is well known in circles where people are conscious, meditate, and practice spirituality, but it is almost completely unknown to people sitting in offices, who could really use this wonderful beverage to recharge their batteries, open their hearts, and feel a sense of community.
